All Hallows Eve...

is almost here.... Can you believe that its almost Halloween?  I can't.  It just seems like this year has flown by.  Just a few weeks till Thanksgiving and then Christmas will be here.  And once again we will begin a new year.  I know I have been absent here for a while and while I have been playing on the computer I have found some pictures of cards and things I have created that I forgot about, so I wanted to share them.  Thanks for taking the time to look, and please leave a comment!

PS These are not Halloween inspired projects.

Let me know what you think!! Thanks for stopping by!!

Can you believe...

it's almost Christmas?  We have 10 weeks till the wonderful day.  I am in process of getting all the supplies together to start making my Christmas Cards.  I have tons of ideas and can't wait to get started.  I'm sorry I don't have anything to show you yet but hopefully by next week I will have several creations to post here.

Here's hoping you have a happy scrappy holiday season!!!

It's been a while....

Since I have been here and I am sorry for that.  A lot has been going on the last several months but things have calmed down so here I am.  It started in February when my dad started having chest pain, then in March he had a heart attack and had to have quintuple bypass surgery.  He has recovered and is doing well but shortly after he had his surgery my mother started having problems with her ICD (Internal Cardiac Defibrillator/Pacemaker) and was in the hospital from the end of April till June 15th, at which time she came home under hospice care.  My husband and I moved in here so that I could take care of both my parents.  I am still tending to mom 24 hours a day 7 days a week.  Since things have calmed down I have been able to start creating again.  I have missed it and wish I had room here for my whole craft room but I don't.  Anyway just a little update about me and whats going on in my part of the world.

Now for a few new creations:

This is a chipboard album that I did.  I love the way it turned out.

This shows the inside of the chipboard album.

This is a journal I made using a composition book and the Life Documented kit from Memory Works.

Hope you will stay and look around a while... Stay tuned for more to come.
