Howdy everyone...

How is everyone doing today? Good I hope. I am sorry that I haven't posted recently but we have been dealing with the crud and pneumonia in the house for the last month. My husband came down with it first and then gave it to me... Well I was sick for about 2 weeks with coughing, fever, congestion, and just all around feeling bad . Well wouldn't you know that my dad now has it and then we think my mom has pneumonia. Anyway it's been a sick house here but things are settling down and I am feeling better so I thought I would share some of the cards I have created over the last few weeks, actually these were made before I got sick and then after, but hey what can I say right? Anyway without further ado here they are.

This is one of two cards I made for a friends mother. She commissioned me to make these for her Granddaughter-in-laws.  Tell me what you think....  :

I did change the sentiment from Great Granddaughter-in- law to For my Granddaughter-in-law since the ladies receiving the cards are not Great GDIL's.  This card is 5x7 and was made with patterned paper called Lori Sieberts Everyday Brights with Glitter pages.  You can't really see it in the pictures but some of the stripes have glitter and the big flower in the center is glittered.  The butterflies were stamped with Versamark on a batik paper and then embossed with clear embossing powder and then fussy cut out and adhered with pop dots for dimension.  The ribbon was glued on each end and then streamers were tied to it to make a bow.  I printed the sentiment on my printer and attached it with pop dots.

Here is number two:

This was one was made with the same paper as the one above just  a different color and I cut out the large flower by hand and adhered it with pop dots.  The butterfly was done the same way also, but I added two silver brads to the center of the body.  Tied two coordinating colors of ribbon together and glued them to the center of the flower.

I have a couple more cards to show you but will have to add them later since my hubby is yelling at me that we need to get ready to run and pick up some meds before the pharmacy closing... Life is wonderful isn't it!  Hope you all have a fantastic day and will be back soon to post the rest of my pics.  Hugs to all my followers and readers.

Have a scrappy day!!!
